2010 5th Annual CHARGE Retreat

What an amazing weekend!
My family and I had so much fun spending it with
some great families.
Families with children that have CHARGE syndrome
came from all over Texas to meet for a
retreat of learning, socializing, entertaining and education.
Let me tell you, the weekend was full of...
games
speakers
dancing
laughter
fishing
a rock wall
a moon bounce
clowns
a petting zoo
a fire truck
face painting
giggling
friendships
great memories & great kids!

Here's the whole gang...

Oh and by the way- Lizzie was our photographer for the weekend.

She did a great job capturing all of the memories!

but I have been a busy little bee!
A lot has been going on!
But it's all been FUN!

So for the next couple of blogs I'm going to try to fill you in on
everything that's been going on!

First Jackson-
Jackson had a wonderful time with all of his
buddies on his school field trip to the Renaissance Festival.
I had a great time also, but it was a long day!

He has been busy playing for his Upward Flag Football games.
The season is already over and he loved it! Of course his daddy thought
he was awesome- truth be told- he really was.
He got to play quarterback and made lots of touchdowns!
I can't wait until school football!

Next Lizzie-
Our Senior!
Busy, Busy, Busy!
Loads of Fun!
Beautiful Memories!

Starting at top left clockwise: Student Council Car Bash,
Nerd Day at School, Lizzie & Chessa on Color War Day,

Last Senior Volleyball Game!
She cried- a lot!

All of the Senior Volleyball girls!
What great friendships she will remember forever!

Lizzie, Cailey and Taylor on the Rattler field for their last time to
give the Student Council gift to our visiting team.
Aren't they cute?

I know that there is going to be a lot coming up
with my little girl
so I promise I will try to keep my blog updated
so you can watch her enjoy her
last memories of high school.
I pray that she cherishes each one of
them with all of her heart!

Fantastic Weekend!

Well I started decorating last week for my favorite time of year- FALL!
pumpkins,
acorns,
and squirrels
Oh My!
I was also getting ready for some very special guests for a Birthday Bash!

My pots needed lots of work, but I love fall plants and had so much fun redoing them.

This is my favorite little Thanksgiving planter- my little turkey.

My favorite dishes!

Okay, here are my special guests-
my mother & my grandmother "MeMe".
It was my mother's birthday month and my sister and I decided
that we were going to create a
"Birthday Bash" weekend to spend time with
just the girls.

Here is my sister and my little niece, Saylor-4 generations!~

I wanted to make everything extra special around the house.

Personalized just for my mom.

This is a picture of my sister & I when we were little.

I put old pictures all over the house and we had so much fun looking at them!

Friday we spent the whole day it seemed like at one of my favorite places-

Old Bryan Market & Maddens Gourmet.

Then we had a quiet night back at home- okay not really- I think we laughed and talked until we were blue in the face!

We got up early Saturday and headed to Round Top and Warrenton to shop at one of the biggest antique fairs!

It was great & I got lots of goodies too!

Thank you mother for being the generous person you are. Always thinking of others first. You have given so much to so many that your deeds could never be repaid. I thank God for giving me a mother like you that has taught me to love others so much! Thank you mom and I hope you have many more wonderful birthdays!
